In early August of 2013, the U.S. Women's National Indoor Team competed in a series of three test matches against Canada in Feasterville, Pa. During the series, the teams employed the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) newly instated indoor rule of five athletes playing on the court per team rather than the customary six.
More recently, Team USA competed in the Der Pokal der Messestadt in Leipzig, Germany. Below is game footage from their match against Osternienburger HC.
The match footage below is a useful tool for players and coaches to better understand the flow of the indoor game with the new rulings. Coaches can review film to observe different presses, attack and out-letting systems, transition play and set plays such as attack penalty corners.
