Registration for 2014 Disney Field Hockey Showcase opens August 1

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo – July 31, 2013 – Registration for the 2014 Disney Field Hockey Showcase will open on August 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. In previous years the event has filled in less than five minutes. Space is limited and teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is recommended to set up an account with Got Sport, Disney’s registration program, in advance.

If clubs are registering more than one team for the Showcase event, a separate username is required for each team to register. Teams may create a log-in and password in advance, or check current username and password by visiting gotsoccer.com.

Select the “login” button underneath the “Team & Team Officials” heading to verify your current username and password or to create a new account. All usernames and passwords need to be set up as “Team Accounts” in order to apply for this tournament.

The Disney Field Hockey Showcase is a four-day showcase event held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla. The premier USA Field Hockey sanctioned event features thousands of talented field hockey players aspiring to play at the collegiate level as well as hundreds of Division I, II and III college coaches seeking out the best talent to fill their rosters. Held annually in February, the Disney Field Hockey Showcase originated seven years ago and began with just 56 teams. The event now features over 180 teams and 3,300 athletes competing on 15 pristine field hockey pitches.
