Since its creation, FUNdamental Field Hockey has exposed the sport to thousands of children nationwide by providing free equipment and emphasizing fun physical activity. But don’t just take our word for it! This USA Field Hockey program receives an ample amount of positive feedback including this note from Columbus Academy:

Hello FUNdamental Field Hockey team,

We wanted to let you know that our FUNdamental Field Hockey spring program has been a HUGE success! In addition to exposing over 60 students in 5th and 6th grades to the sport using the Harrow sticks, as well as the highly-anticipated summer camp, we had 28 girls sign between grades 2nd to 6th sign up for our inaugural program. Many of these girls were picking up sticks for the first time and the general consensus from the players and parents is that they’re having a blast!

The curriculum provided by FUNdamental field hockey has been a tremendous help and it has been easy to scale depending upon age and experience level. We do the basic drills together, then break out into two groups, 2nd and 3rd grades and 4th through 6th graders for scrimmages and appropriate drills. We’re very fortunate that we have a great coaching staff, one faculty member/coach and a handful of alumni volunteers who feel passionate about our program and its future.

Thanks again for all the support! We’re extremely excited about this program and there’s been a lot of talk about many more students joining it in the future.
