COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – December 23, 2013 – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the dates and locations for the 2014 Regional Club Championships, presented by Harrow Sports. The Regional Club Championships (RCC) serve as a qualifying mechanism for the prestigious National Club Championship. The first RCC competition is set for March 29, 2014.
Since its inaugural year in 2012, club teams compete in a Regional Championship in order to earn a spot at the National Club Championship. Regional qualifiers identify the best club teams in the country to compete at the premier National Championship event for honors and bragging rights of being the top U-16 and U-19 club field hockey teams in the nation.
Twelve Regional Club Championships will be held from March-June 2014. The goal of the Regional Club Championships is to enable every club from the 11 regions to have an opportunity to advance to the National Club Championship as well as create a highly competitive atmosphere for athletes and teams to compete.
Please contact the RCC Host with any questions regarding the Regional Club Championship in your area. Host information can be found on the RCC event page on usafieldhockey.com.
