Harrow Cup and Regional Outdoor Club League take advantage of USA Field Hockey sanctioning program

USA Field Hockey is presenting local tournaments with a unique opportunity to elevate their event to a premier, distinguished status through sanctioning. Key features to USA Field Hockey sanctioned tournaments include ample insurance protection, exclusive media coverage, access to USA Field Hockey umpires in your area and more.

Two major events are already reaping the benefits of the USA Field Hockey sanctioning program. The Junior Premier Indoor League’s new component the Regional Outdoor Club League (ROCL), also known as the Junior Premier Outdoor League (JPOL), was established to provide athletes and coaches with a high level of competition on a regular basis. This event will prepare clubs and their members for success at national competitions. Rutgers University and Princeton University will serve as host venues for this league. ROCL is open to all youth field hockey clubs in Region 6 (New Jersey). 

The following U-19 clubs will be participating in the inaugural ROCL: 

G-Force FH (Lake Hiawatha, N.J.), Impact FHC (North Caldwell, N.J.), Jersey Intensity FH (Monmouth Beach, N.J.), New Heights FHC (Chatham, N.J.), Princeton HC (Princeton, N.J.), Rapid Fire Elite (Edison, N.J.), South Jersey Edge (Erial, N.J.), Spirit Eagles FHC (Milltown, N.J.), Total Dutch FH (Somerset, N.J.), FC United (Daren, Conn.)

The following U-16 clubs will be participating in the inaugural ROCL: G-Force FH (Lake Hiawatha, N.J.), Jersey Elite FH (Washington, N.J.), Jersey Intensity FH (Monmouth Beach, N.J.), New Heights FHC (Chatham, N.J.), Princeton HC (Princeton, N.J.), Quik Stix Elite (Ridgewood, N.J.), South Jersey Edge (Erial, N.J.),Spirit Eagles FHC (Milltown, N.J.), Total Dutch FH (Somerset, N.J.),FC United (Daren, Conn.)

Another USA Field Hockey sanctioned event is the much anticipated Harrow Cup. This tournament is a post-collegiate women’s field hockey tournament with a $10,000 winner takes all cash prize. Six teams will compete in the weekend long competition in Philadelphia, Pa. from June 8 – 9. The purpose of Harrow Cup is to not only promote post collegiate hockey in a competitive and structured environment but also extend the length of American hockey careers and cultivate a life-time sport ethos through the provision of a national competition.
