2011 Hockey Festival teams announced
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the teams that will be attending the 2011 National Hockey Festival in Phoenix, Arizona. The National Hockey Festival retains its title as the largest event of its kind in the world, attracting more than 3,500 athletes internationally to compete over Thanksgiving weekend. The 2011 National Hockey Festival will be held November 24th -27th , at Reach 11 Sports Complex, the same venue that hosted the 2010 Festival.
"The Sports Commission and the City of Phoenix are proud to welcome back USA Field Hockey this November," said Jon Schmieder, President, Phoenix Regional Sports Commission. "The venue will be in great condition, the weather perfect, and the competition outstanding."

Festival continues to be USA Field Hockey’s largest, premier event with a long wait list of member Clubs wishing to participate. In 2010, it was estimated that over $9.2 million was generated in direct visitor spending to the Phoenix Valley, which included over 11,000 hotel room nights. The Reach 11 complex has 18 lighted playing fields that spans over 33 acres of desert land.
USA Field Hockey’s “Stay to Play” policy will be in effect. JBS Destination Solutions will provide complimentary services for hotel accommodations. It is required that all teams book their hotel accommodations through JBS to ensure their place at Festival.
