Senior Men From France!

Brought to you by Liam Walsh, #25:

Greetings from France!!

Two days of tournament play have now been completed here in Lille, and the team is glad to be enjoying a rest day on this, the Birthday of America.  The entire tournament is taking a break of one day before we reconvene to play our final game of the round robin against Austria on Tuesday.  As many of you know, the results of our first two games were not ideal, but we have steadily improved our performance in both games and everything is still to play for against Austria tomorrow. With a win in our match, we are still looking to take second in our group depending on the outcome of the China versus Czech Republic match.

The team has settled well into our temporary homes here in France, aside from the usual eating, sleeping, jogging and stretching we have spent a day in the centre of Lille and we will be heading back there today after lunch, hopefully to indulge in a friendly game of laser tag. We all wish we could be at home with friends and family for the 4th of July, but hopefully you are all managing to enjoy a wonderful Independence Day without us. Please keep following the blog, the results and the live streaming. We will do our best to bring home the results.

America Heck Yeah!!!
