Points FAQ
I am trying to talk with someone in National Events, but I can’t get through to a real person.
The National Events phones are very busy throughout the tournament season. If you have a question, leave a voice message for the individual you are trying to reach or call the main desk at 719‐866‐4511. If you need an immediate answer, email the question to:
information@usfencing.org
. Please do not leave a message at every extension in the office. It only slows the process and creates confusion for everyone.
How do I know who to contact?
for a list of National Office staff and the areas they cover.
What time will the tournament end each day?
There is no way to determine when the tournament will end each day. If you are competing and plan to leave after your event, make your departure arrangements for the following day. There is a chance if you book your flight for the same day, due to tournament conditions competition may not finish in time for you to catch your flight.
Why is it better to use the online registration versus sending in a paper entry form?
For registration accuracy, speed and environmentally-conscious reasons, USA Fencing has moved to an online registration system. With online registration you receive a confirmation right away and appear on the confirmed entrants list once your payment is processed (does not apply to championships). When an entry form is emailed, faxed or mailed in we have to process the payment, enter the fencer manually, and email a confirmation back. Paper entries take 2‐3 days to process.
There is an additional $10 fee on all the paper entries.
