2017 World Championships Individual Trials Preview: Men's 10-meter

The men’s 10-meter event will be the final competition at the 2017 World Championships Individual Trials, which start tomorrow and run through Sunday in Indianapolis, and the field is stacked with talented divers. Seven members from the 2017 High Performance Squad (two from Tier 1, five from Tier 2) will be in attendance, with some looking for additional events in Budapest, while others hope to punch their tickets to worlds this summer. Here are the details for men’s 10-meter.

  • Preliminary: Saturday, May 20, 12:30 p.m.
  • Semifinal: Saturday, May 20, 6:30 p.m.
  • Final: Sunday, May 21, 3:30 p.m.

Number of divers with DD of 19.5+ needed for Budapest (14th place in semifinal at Rio 2016 Olympic Games): 6

Minimum cumulative score needed for Budapest: 1,209 (18th place in semifinal at Rio 2016 Olympic Games).
