USA Diving accepting applications for Junior Podium Centers

USA Diving is establishing Junior Podium Centers to create a pathway for success for some of USA Diving's most promising young athletes.

 The Junior Podium Centers will be established at facilities with coaches who have regularly produced Junior National Squad athletes and Junior Pan Am and Junior World Championships team members in the last four years.The Centers will also become a resource for all USA Diving members.

Preferred Criteria
The potential Junior Podium Center location must:
1) Be represented by a junior coach who has regularly produced Junior National Squad athletes and Junior Pan Am and Junior World Championships team members in the last four years.

2) Have excellent dryland and water training facilities and equipment.

3) Require a minimum of 20 hours training per week for athletes identified as potential future Olympians (those designated as High Performance Squad or Junior National Squad athletes or others identified with world-class potential).

4) Be willing to coach a group of up to six divers or two groups of up to 12 divers.
