Each summer junior curling camps are held in various areas of the country. Most camps are organized by local clubs or regions, with the staff at USA Curling providing administrative support and conducting background checks for instructors and coaches.
During the summer of 2012, USA Curling piloted an elite camp focused on junior teams with the potential to be successful at the national level. This camp, which will continue as part of the USA Curling High Performance Program, is one of the first opportunities for junior athletes to gain exposure to and insight from the HPP coaching staff.
