By Christy Hering | July 01, 2014, 12 a.m. (ET)

The Four Seasons Curling Club in Blaine, Minn., will host a USCA Level I instructor course on Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The club is located at Fogerty Arena, 9250 Lincoln St. NE. Please arrive between 15 and 30 minutes early to sign-in.

Level I Instructors are trained to work with new curlers, helping them learn the game and basic skills. They also help novice curlers improve their performance. Clinics are open to members of any curling club. Please note these clinics are geared toward curlers with two or more years of curling experience.

The cost for the course is $45 and includes lunch. As the course features an on-ice component, please bring curling equipment and clothing appropriate for being on the ice.
