60 athletes named to High Performance National Program for 2012 through 13

The U.S. Curling Association, in partnership with the U.S. Olympic Committee, has selected 60 athletes to be part of the 2012-2013 High Performance National Program.

The invited teams include four tiers - four teams in the High Performance Olympic Trials tier (highest priority teams); two High Performance Elite teams; four Project 2018 junior teams; and Project 2018 individuals (which includes two complete teams). The overall program is under the leadership of Derek Brown, USCA Director of High Performance. Program selection was done by a High Performance advisory group which included Brown, the three High Performance Program national coaching staff members and USCA Board and AAC representatives. Selections are based on previous performances and results and the potential to achieve future results.
