Hornsby was the only member of Team USA to compete at the third and final 2013 World Cup. Hornsby and the other U.S. paddlers will look toward the 2013 National Championships and World Championships in August.

“Its encouraging to see Tim making a World Cup A final. In the 3rd event of the year, it shows that he is moving in the right direction before the Worlds [Championships] in Duisburg,” said U.S. Sprint Team Coach Shaun Caven. “Maggie [Hogan] and Kaitlyn [McElroy] - the girls did well at the two World Cup events. Hopefully with a couple of adjustments and some quality training, they will break into the 500m A final.”
