Team USA took four medals at the Junior Slalom World Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia. All U.S. athletes made it to finals, and we paddled well as a team. Jordi Domenjo and Danka Mann did a fabulous job of coaching and managing the logistics such that we were ready to do our best.

Elliot Bertrand won the Silver medal in the C-1 Under-18 men with Gabe Machado in 4th and Will Coggan in 6th. Michael Rudnitsky claimed Bronze in men’s K-1 U18. Will and Gabe took Silver in men’s C-2 U18. Each athletes recorded a top ten performance. Spencer Huff's semifinal run was the most outstanding U.S. run of the day; he was on fire! The semifinal/final course was a bear! We were competing with athletes who train on this course regularly, and we have every reason to be proud of our athlete's performances.
