Initial Bid Application
All host organizations must be current members of USA Canoe/Kayak. A new Host venue must host a series of USA Canoe Kayak training camps in order to host a National Championships or Team Trials.
The acceptance of a bid and designation of a host organization does not become official until an event contract has been executed between the host and USA Canoe/Kayak.
The signed Initial bid proposal should be submitted to USA Canoe/Kayak office no later than January 1, 2012.
All proposals for proposed event contract must be reviewed by the USA Canoe/Kayak office and the Slalom Committee. Bid selection shall be awarded by sponsorship opportunities as well as venue layout. A budget should be attached to all Initial Bid Proposals.
Contracts will be negotiated between USA Canoe/Kayak and proposed venue within a 30-day period of the bid being awarded.
The Event Contract must be signed 30 days after the initial bid has been accepted. In the event the 30 days deadline has passed, a new venue may be awarded the bid.
