Shakur Stevenson has enjoyed quite a year in 2013, taking his first junior world title on top of gold medals in all the major national events he competed in. The 16-year-old got the chance to show off some of his hardware to some special friends down the road from his Newark home.

The 2013 Junior Olympic National Champion and Junior World Team Open titlist became only the third boxer ever to take Junior Men's World Championships' gold in September in Kiev, Ukraine. He was recently named the AIBA Junior Boxer of the Year and will travel to Almaty, Kazakhstan later this month to accept his award at the Men's World Championships.
