USA Bobsled and Skeleton
The U.S. Bobsled & Skeleton Federation concluded the national team camp by honoring athletes for their season accomplishments at the Awards Gala on June 23rd. The coaching staff selected winners for the Athlete of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Team of the Year awards, while athletes voted for a team member in their discipline to receive the Athletes' Choice awards. The 2012 award winners are:
Women's Bobsled Athlete of the Year: Elana Meyers
Men's Bobsled Athlete of the Year: Steven Holcomb
Men's Bobsled Athletes' Choice: Steve Langton
Men's Bobsled Athletes' Choice: Justin Olsen
Skeleton Athlete of the Year: Katie Uhlaender
Skeleton Athletes' Choice: Kyle Tress
Rookie of the Year: Katie Eberling
Team of the Year: Men's Bobsled USA-1 (Steven Holcomb, Justin Olsen, Steve Langton and Curt Tomasevicz)
