Monday’s skeleton selection race start time changed
PARK CITY, Utah (Oct. 27, 2013)- The skeleton team selection race scheduled for Monday evening has been modified due to weather forecasts predicting thunderstorms and strong winds. Skeleton athletes will now compete on Monday from 8-10 am MT, and on Tuesday at the regularly scheduled time of 7-9 pm MT.
The national team will be named on Wednesday morning, and athletes will earn a spot based on points garnered through a series of four selection races. Noelle Pikus-Pace (Orem, Utah), Katie Uhlaender (Breckenridge, Colo.) and John Daly (Smithtown, N.Y.) have earned byes onto the team based on last season’s results, leaving eight spots available.
