Bobsled and Skeleton World Cup Tour Moves to St. Moritz, Switzerland


ST. MORITZ, Switzerland–The bobsled and skeleton World Cup circuit will make its final European stop in St. Moritz, Switzerland from Jan. 15-18 before traveling to North America.  The St. Moritz course, which is the only natural track in the world, begins in the village of St. Moritz before winding its way 1700 meters to the finish in the town of Celerina.

Due to the cancellation of the Cesana, Italy World Cup in December, St. Moritz will host the make-up races for the men’s two-man bobsled and women’s bobsled events.  The four-man bobsled and skeleton make-up events will be held in Park City, Utah in February. 


The schedule for the St. Moritz World Cup is as follows, with all times listed in ET:


Thursday, Jan. 15: Men’s two-man bobsled #1 at 3 am, Women’s bobsled #1 at 7 am

Friday, Jan. 16: Women’s bobsled #2 at 3 am, Women’s Skeleton at 7 am

Saturday, Jan. 17: Men’s two-man bobsled #2 at 3 am, Men’s Skeleton at 7 am

Sunday, Jan. 18: Men’s four-man bobsled at 3 am
