Men’s Bobsled Alternates Announced

 

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. –After two additional weeks of training and race-offs at the Olympic Sports Complex in Lake Placid, N.Y., the U.S. men’s bobsled team and alternates for the first half of the season has been officially decided.

 

The 2008-09 men’s bobsled World Cup team will consist of the following drivers:  Steven Holcomb (Park City, Utah), andTodd Hays (Del Rio, Texas). 

 

The push athletes for the first half of the 2008-09 World Cup team will be:  Steve Mesler (Calgary, Alberta), Justin Olsen(San Antonio, Texas), Curt Tomasevicz (Shelby, Neb.), TJ Burns (Blue Bell, Pa.), Bill Schuffenhauer (Ogden, Utah),Alex Sprague (Indianapolis, Ind.), Jacob Miller (Waterford, Va.), and Nick Cunningham (Monterey, Calif.). 

 

The first World Cup competition will be held in Winterberg, Germany from Nov. 28-30th.
