USA Badminton is proud to announce that The Orange County Badminton Club (OCBC), which operates the OCBC/Yonex Training Center, is officially recognized as an USAB High Performance Training Center. The OCBC USAB High Performance Training Center will bring together top domestic and international players to improve the skill level of US athlete so they can compete effectively at the international competitions level.
OCBC coaches Cai Zi Min, Rudi Gunawan, and Ignatius Rusli will train OCBC USAB High Performance Training Center participants. All three coaches have served USA Badminton at the highest level of coaching including leading the US Olympic badminton teams and the US national teams. Additional coaches will also be added to the program as it expands.
The United States Olympic Committee appointed OCBC as a National Training Center in 2002 and OCBC has agreed to follow USAB training center criteria and fulfilled its responsibilities as a USAB High Performance Training Center. Onsite housing is an integral part of an elite training center so OCBC now has dorm rooms that may be available for short-term or long-term rentals.
If you are interested in training at the OCBC USAB High Performance Training Center please contact OCBC at firstname.lastname@example.org or 714-639-6222.
