The Loch Raven Badminton Club

       The Loch Raven Badminton Club in Baltimore, Maryland has been open for 55 years and is still growing. The club has about 200 members ranging from the ages of 6 to 80. This is a public club open for anyone to come and play.

Recently, the club moved into the NERRC on Oakleigh Road with 8 competition courts.

Because the Loch Raven Club is a public club they focus on all aspects of Badminton. You can learn how to play, train, coach, or even take part in the Elite athlete preparation program. Club meeting times vary but are on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The club holds 2-4 events a year with the biggest being the Maryland Badminton Championships. This tournament is held in May and brings an average of 70 competitors and 20 spectators. It is an adult only even and has been held the past 52 years.
