For the first time ever Americans have won medals at the 2011 Senior World Championships!
The 2011 Senior World Championships was held in Richmond, Vancouver  BC, Canada 
from 21 -27 August 2011 (  http://bwfworldseniors2011.com/ ). The USA team was comprised of 36 members.

The USA winners are:

+ 55 Women’s  Singles  Gold Medalist  - Wei Jian Wilson

+ 65 Men’s Doubles  Gold Medalists  - Bob Cook & Andy Gouw

+ 60 Women’s Doubles  Bronze  Medalist  - Sue Dommeyer &  Rose Lei
