The USA Thomas Cup Team played well today without dropping any games against Colombia. , Nicholas Jinadasa set the pace for USA in the first singles against Carlos Munoz. Nicholas was in complete control throughout the entire match letting his opponent to score only 16 points. Nicholas took 15 minutes to win 21-7, 21-9.
Arnold Setiadi went in for second singles against Christian Vargas. Vargas tried to put a fight, but Arnold was far too superior. Arnold also finished the match in 15 minutes, 21-1, 21-6.
Daniel Gouw went in for third singles against Sergio Rincon. Daniel took 19 minutes to win in straight games, 21-8, 21-8 and the tie for USA.
USA's first doubles pair, Sameera Gunatileka/ Vincent Nguy played flawlessly against Carlos Munoz/Stiven Pulgarin. USA took control and quickly won 21-4, 21-4 in an amazing 14 minutes.
Sattawat Pongnairat/Phillip Chew took to the courts for the second doubles against Sergio Rincon/ Christian Vargas. In a one sided match, the USA pair took 21 minutes to complete out match their opponents 21-8, 21-8.
