USA Badminton Partners with BCI Technology

Nov. 13, 2008, 5:33 p.m. (ET)

In an effort to provide USA Badminton (USAB) membership with an exceptional level of service, convenience and the latest in rankings reporting, we have entered into an agreement with BCI, Inc., the developer of the RAILSTATIONTM System.   The BCI Team provides a combination of information technology, internal controls, benchmarking, and management consulting products.   BCI was founded in 1991 by Mike Barnet, BCI's President, who is a CPA and MBA.  BCI is a Certified Microsoft Partner.

RAILSTATIONTM  is a membership & event management system which displays real-time results, drill-down rankings, tournaments, leagues and ladders.  It enables current members to track their personal data for any USAB sanctioned event by opening a web browser.

"This partnership with BCI provides USA Badminton a leap forward in technology that provides us with a superior Event & Membership Management platform and also a turn-key solution for managing our back office operations and administrative functions," says Dan Cloppas, Chief Executive Officer of USA Badminton.   "BCI's knowledge & experience in the sports management industry, coupled with their use of technology to move us forward, was immediately apparent the first time we viewed a demonstration of their solution. USA Badminton is delighted to have found an online system that will meet the needs of our membership and enhance tournament functions."

Please check  http://www.usabadminton.org/  News for more updates and developments as we move closer to rolling out the new system.  We expect to have on-line membership processing available in  December, where new and existing members will be able to go online to:  Join, Renew, Set up a login and  review their profile.
