BEIJING (AP) China's Yu Yang and He Hanbin won the bronze medal in mixed doubles badminton at the Olympics on Sunday, defeating Indonesia's Flandy Limpele and Vita Marissa.

Yu and He, who were fourth-seeded, defeated the third-seeded pair of Limpele and Marissa 19-21, 21-17, 23-21 at Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium.

Yu and He recovered from an 11-7 deficit in the third game and won the match when Marissa's smash from the front of the court went into the net.

After dropping the first game, the Chinese pair took control in the second game with a 6-0 lead. Limpele and Marissa fought back and pulled to within two points before the Chinese won the final two of the second game to seize the momentum.
