The mission of USA Badminton will foster the growth of badminton in the United States of America and competitive excellence by U.S. athletes in international and Olympic competition. The privilege of membership may, therefore, be withdrawn or denied by USAB at any time where USAB determines that its member or a prospective member's conduct is inconsistent with the mission of the organization or the best interest of the badminton community, particularly its athlete community.
In order to ensure the safety of its athlete community, USAB is adopting USOC’s Safe Sport Training and make this training mandatory for all certified coaches and volunteers involved in badminton in the U.S. However, as it will take some time to be ready for training access, USAB and USOC has cooperated to organize a temporary Safe Sports Training Guide for coaches and volunteers as reference.
