COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – USA Archery is partnering with the Archery Shooters Association to host the 2017 U.S. National 3-D Collegiate Championships October 26-29th in Foley, Alabama. We are excited to announce that registration for this event is now open!

USA Archery will sanction the championship hosted by ASA, which will follow ASA rules and require USA Archery membership and collegiate eligibility for registration. The event will run according to the 2017 ASA Pro/Am Rules of Competition and offer classes for Barebow, Compound, Recurve, and Bowhunter divisions. USA Archery equipment rules will be in place.

Curtis Balusek of Georgia Tech shared his enthusiasm for the new event: “I’m personally excited for the upcoming Collegiate 3-D Nationals because it gives my team another opportunity to get out and meet collegiate archers from around the U.S. Last year, we had a record number of archers go from Georgia Tech to California for collegiate nationals and they can’t wait for another national event; especially one much closer to home for us. But, I think a bigger part of Collegiate 3-D Nationals is having more opportunities for collegiate archers to compete. We’ve been looking forward to more collegiate competition at all levels and 3-D nationals is a great way to start!”
