Chula Vista, Calif. – USA Archery has hired
Ashley Hernandez in the role of National Teams Manager. Based at the Olympic
Training Center in Chula Vista, Hernandez will work with the organization’s
High Performance staff to coordinate team travel and logistics for all able and
para team travel.
Handling logistics for athlete training camps,
managing the National Ranking System and U.S. Archery Team rankings,
coordinating clean sport programs, and ensuring consistent communication among
teams, athletes and external partners will be key components of Hernandez’
position with USA Archery.
Hernandez is a graduate of San Diego State
University with a degree in communications, with an emphasis in public
relations, advertising and marketing. Prior to working with USA Archery,
Hernandez was an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Ludus Tours – a position
that largely focused on travel logistics coordination and public relations.
“We are really excited to have Ashley as part
of our team,” comments Guy Krueger, Assistant Head Coach. “We believe that with
her public relations and logistics background, she will help us provide
excellent service to our athletes.”
“This is an exciting career move for me,”
explains Hernandez. “I’m able to use my knowledge and experience and tie that
into a great organization I believe in. It is with great pleasure and
excitement that I join USA Archery.”
