Colorado Springs, CO - Archers who are interested in competing internationally should note that there are several tournament opportunities throughout the year that are considered "open" - that is, archers may register and compete without going through a formal team selection process. Examples of these open international competitions are the Mexican Grand Prix in Monterrey, Mexico; the European Grand Prix events, and the Asian Grand Prix in Bangkok, Thailand. Archers interested in finding out more about these kinds of opportunities should visit
http://www.archery.org
(World Archery) and
http://www.coparco.org
(World Archery Americas) for event listings. Archers with questions about these events should contact Robby Beyer at USA Archery:
619-482-6175 or
rbeyer@usarchery.org
