USA Archery

USA Archery offers the Coach of the Year Award, together with the U.S. Olympic Committee, to recognize the achievements of coaches.

2013 has been a very successful year for USA Archery Athletes.  And for each athlete who excelled on the field of play, there was a coach who made an impact.

Each year at this time, we ask you to nominate a coach who has helped you or is instrumental in a program you belong to.  There are five categories to consider when nominating:

National Coach - A coach of an Elite Level Club, Collegiate, Pan-Am, World Championship or Olympic Games coach or the coach of an elite athlete who competes at the highest level. Click here to download the nomination form.

Developmental Coach - A coach of a youth club, high school or junior-level coach, or a coach directly responsible for coaching athletes to the junior and/or elite level. Click here to download the nomination form.

Volunteer Coach - A coach who does not receive payment in any form for their involvement in coaching at any level. Click here to download the nomination form.

Doc Counsilman "Science" Award - A coach that utilizes scientific techniques/equipment as an integral part of his/her coaching methods, or has created innovative ways to use sport science. Click here to download the nomination form.
