Jan 08 US Championships Conclude; World Cup and World Championship Teams Announced

KEARNS, UT (January 8, 2012) - The 2012 U.S. Short Track National Championships concluded today at the Utah Olympic Oval as Lana Gehring (Glenview, IL) and Simon Cho (Laurel, MD) were crowned overall 2012 U.S. Short Track Champions.

In today's distance races, Cho and Gehring won the 1000m titles, while Gehring and Travis Jayner captured the 3000m championship.

Following today's competition, US Speedskating announced the rosters for the 2012 Winter World Cup and World Championship teams. Congratulations to the following skaters.
