Another Golden Day for Davis

December 10, 2008- Berlin, Germany. Olympian Shani Davis (Chicago, IL) had another Gold medal day during the ISU World Allround Speedskating Championship in Berlin, Germany. Davis took the top spot on the podium in the Men's 1500m on Sunday. In the Men's 10,000m Davis finished a solid 5th, earning him an overall Bronze medal for the entire competition. Fellow 2006 Olympian Chad Hedrick (Spring, TX) also fared well in the competition, finishing 5th in the Men's 1500m, and right behind Davis in 6th place in the Men's 10,000m. Hedrick finished 4th in the overall standings. Both Davis and Hedrick and will travel with the U.S. Team on to Inzell, Germany this week to compete February 16-17 at the Essent ISU World Cup Speedskating-Inzell, Germany.
