Participant Welfare Policy & Safesport Training:
US Speedskating is pleased to announce the implementation of its safe sport initiative, The US Speedskating Participant Welfare Policy. We all have a role to play in creating a healthy setting for Speedskating. Our SafeSport program will help raise awareness about misconduct in sport, promote open dialogue, provide training and resources, and to assist members with potential allegations. USS is focused on providing a safe environment to protect the health and well-being of our athletes.
The US Speedskating Participant Welfare Policy is designed to ensure safe, positive experience for all USS membership. The policy outlines organizational expectations and relevant areas of potential concern, with a goal of a healthy environment for all participants in our sport. This policy applies to, and is in force, for all USS members, participants, athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and staff within all speedskating disciplines. Please review the US Speedskating Participant Welfare Policy below.
