All athletes who hold a current IPC License and have a New (N) or Review (R) international classification status will be required to attend international classification at the National Championships and therefore MUST submit the international classification MD form (and supplemental documents) and request a classification appointment (through the event registration). Failure to do so can result in removal from the competition. The deadline for athletes to submit the international classification documents and to request a classification appointment is May 9, 2014 at 11:59pm (PST).

The fee to register is $55.00 per athlete, which includes unlimited event entry and one athlete support credential. Additional athlete support credentials are $55.00 per person and can be purchased at Packet Pick-up.

The 2014 U.S. Paralympics Track and Field National Championships is open to U.S. and international athletes with physical, visual and intellectual disabilities who have met the entry standards. Per IPC Rules, athletes must be 14 years of age by December 31, 2014 to be eligible to compete. U.S. Paralympics reserves the right to limit the number of international athletes proceeding to a final for each track and field event.
The entry standards must be achieved between January 1, 2014, and June 15, 2014. A Proof of Performance form must be submitted in order to confirm entry / verify entry results. Proof of Performance forms (linked at the top of the page) should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to 719-866-2029. The Junior qualifying standards are for those athletes ages 14-19 during the calendar year of 2014. It is possible for Juniors to be grouped into heats/flights with elite level athletes.
Competition specific equipment (i.e., throwing implements, helmet, etc.) is not provided--athletes must bring their own equipment for the competition.
