The Para-Cycling High Performance Director will determine strategy for 2013 UCI events. This strategy will ensure the US Para-Cycling team maximizes UCI Nations Ranking points and athlete development.
Based on this strategy athletes will be named for 2013 World Cup teams based on the team selection procedures.
World Cup events:
UCI World Cup #1 June 7-9, 2013 Merano/Marlengo, ITA
UCI World Cup #2 June 14-16, 2013 Segovia, Spain
UCI World Cup #3 August 23-25, 2013 Matane, CAN
If for some reason the top ranked athlete is unable or unwilling to execute the agreed upon qualification strategy the High Performance Director in consultation with the US Paralympics Team Leader, Sport Performance will use discretion in naming a replacement athlete.
