Team USA battles weather in alpine, Nordic skiing events

Biathlon: U.S. Nordic team places two athletes in top-10
After a two-day break for cross-country events, the biathlon competition resumed on day four of the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games. Army veteran Andy Soule posted the best finish of the day for Team USA, placing fifth in the 12.5-kilometer men's sitting biathlon after putting together a virtually mistake-free race that included a perfect 20-for-20 on the shooting range. Oksana Masters, who won silver in the women's sitting 12km cross-country race earlier this week, finished eighth in Tuesday's 10km biathlon with a time of 40:22.8. More

Sled hockey: Russia upsets USA, 2-1

Team USA completed the preliminary round in second place of group B with a 2-1 record. Team USA will play Canada in the Paralympic semifinals on Thursday. Alpine skiing: Americans in hunt for super combined medals after slalom run
Cloudy weather and drizzling rain postponed the super-G run of the super combined, but that didn't deter Stephanie Jallen and Danelle Umstead from putting together solid slalom runs to end the day sitting in third place halfway through the super combined at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games. Heath Calhoun was the top men's finisher for Team USA, as he ended the day in fourth place in the men's sitting classification. More

ATHLETE FEATURE
Andy Yohe back where he belongs

The Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games should have been the end for Andy Yohe. After helping Team USA to a gold medal at the 2010 Games, and already a bronze medalist from the Torino 2006 Paralympic Winter Games, Yohe retired from the sport to focus on his young family. But the ice kept calling. Now, after three years in retirement, Yohe is back to captain the 2014 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. More
