U.S. Paralympic snowboarder Amy Purdy, who won bronze at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, and partner Derek Hough are one of four couples in the two-part Dancing with the Stars final. Tonight, one couple will be eliminated, and the final three will dance for the Mirror Ball Trophy on Tuesday.
Voting opens tonight at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. To vote for Purdy and Hough, dial 800-868-3410 or visit http://uspara.us/x1anm.
Purdy is competing against Olympic champion Meryl Davis with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, actress Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas and actor-singer James Maslow with Peta Murgatroyd.
Doctors gave Purdy a two percent chance to live when she contracted neisseria meningitis, a form of bacterial meningitis, and had her legs amputated below the knee at age 19.
At 34, she won a bronze medal in the debut of women's snowboard cross at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, and competed on Dancing with the Stars just three days later. She is the only U.S. Paralympian ever to compete on the show.
