COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. Men’s Sitting Volleyball Team will play for the gold medal after winning its semifinal match over Mexico, 25-18, 26-24, 25-15 on Friday at the Central American Games for Sitting Volleyball in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The U.S. Men (4-0), who are the top seeds and have not lost a set in the tournament, will play either Colombia or Costa Rica at 7 p.m. CT in Saturday’s gold medal match.

"The team played well enough to get the job done, but the execution in the first set was adequate, the second set poor and the third set OK,” U.S. Men’s Head Coach Bill Hamiter (Bethany, Okla.) said. “We will need to play much better tomorrow to win the tournament."
