The USABA National Marathon Championships were held in conjunction with the California International Marathon on December 5 with fourteen blind and visually impaired athletes competing in the event.

Men's Division

Two USABA two relay teams also competed including one team of military veterans and the other made up of local Sacramento and Bay Area athletes.

"For the second year in a row, the City of Sacramento and the California International Marathon (CIM) provided a tremendous opportunity for athletes who are blind or visually impaired from around the United States and Canada to showcase their running abilities and allow the US Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) to use the CIM as their National Championships," says Military Sports Coordinator, Richard Cardillo.
