Nearly 4,000 athletes from almost 150 countries are expected to compete in 20 sports at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. The official website for the Games is www.london2012.com.
Sport-by-sport qualification criteria and a qualification guide are available on the International Paralympic Committee's website at http://www.paralympic.org/.
CoSport is the only authorized 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games ticket seller in the United States. If interested in purchasing tickets, visit the CoSport website at http://www.cosport.com/ for information. During the Games, all ticket box offices will sell available tickets, although tickets to some events maybe sold out in advance and and unavailable for purchase during the Games.
The USOC is planning to provide each athlete competing at the Games with two category B tickets for their events (to be distributed once the event schedule and entry process is finalized). Also, LOCOG, at Games-time, will also make available two tickets for purchase for each athlete for their events (most likely be category A or B tickets). However, if the family members can secure all their ticket needs prior to Games-time, it will be less stressful for the athlete during the time of competition.
