What's New in Equestrian - June 17

Elizabeth Ball rode 2009 national champion Selten HW to a victory in the 6-year-old division of the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Selection Trials at Flintridge, Calif. The win qualified her for the short list for the 2010 FEI World Breeding Championships, which will be held Aug. 5-8 in Verden, Germany. Selection trials were held at three sites, and the winners included Ball, Kassandra Barteau (riding GP Super Crusador) and Christopher Schruefer (De Facto) in the 6-year-old division, and Emily Wagner (WakeUp), Mark Carter (Bellino) and Inga Janke (Suntreader) in the 5-year-old class.
