US Biathlon is very sad to report that Steve Sands, USBA Executive Director 1995-2006, passed away at home in Montpelier, VT last Saturday with his family by his side. Steve was an outstanding person, full of wisdom and kindness who led US Biathlon with a steady hand and great compassion. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family as we remember all the gifts his life brought to all who had the pleasure to work with him. Obituary
