Gallery: Olympians Support Figure Skating In Harlem

The 2013 Skating with the Stars gala honored broadcaster Andrea Joyce of NBC Sports and fashion designer B Michael of B Michael America.
Now in its 16th year, Figure Skating in Harlem remains the first and only organization in the country that combines the power of education with the grace and discipline of figure skating. Its mission is to transform the lives of underserved New York City girls. Through its unique programming, FSH empowers girls with innovative year-round health, education and fitness programs that promote academic success, physical health, and emotional well-being. The proceeds from this year’s gala will help to expand academic programming. FSH is constantly growing to meet the needs of the girls it serves as it plans for the creation of a home ice rink and academic center of its own to anchor in the community.
Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to skate with Hamilton and Olympic champions Evan Lysacek (2010), Sarah Hughes (2002), and Tara Lipinski (1998); they will be joined by Sasha Cohen (Olympic Silver medalist), Tanith Belbin (Olympic silver medalist), Paul Wylie (Olympic Silver medalist), Tim Goebel (Olympic Bronze medalist), Kimmie Meissner (2006 World Champion), Johnny Weir, (Olympic Team Member), Jeremy Abbott (2-time US Men’s Figure Skating Champion), Alissa Czisny (2-time US Women’s Figure Skating Champion), Javier Fernandez (European Figure Skating Champion), Christina Gao (2013 Grand Prix medalist), Adam Rippon (US Junior Champion), Agnes Zawadzki (2013 US Bronze Medalist), and more. Joining the skaters will be Olympic Champion Nastia Liukin and Olympic Tim Morehouse.
