Five weeks after swimming from Cuba to Florida, Diana Nyad began a 48-hour swim in Manhattan’s Herald Square to raise money for Hurricane Sandy victims. Celebs, athletes and locals were invited to join her for a few laps in the two-lane, 40-yard pool. Olympian Ryan Lochte even took the plunge on Tues., Oct. 8 – nearly eight hours into the "Swim for Relief."
