INDIANAPOLIS - David Boudia (Noblesville, Ind.) received 11 perfect 10s and Laura Wilkinson (Spring, Texas) had seven as the teenager and the Olympic gold medalist picked up wins on 10-meter Sunday at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Diving to earn nominations to the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team.

Boudia won the men's 10-meter title with 1642.20 points to earn his first trip to the Olympics Games, while Wilkinson clinched her third Olympic berth with 1214.50 points.

Boudia, 19, earned perfect scores on back-to-back dives in the fourth and fifth rounds. He earned six 10s for 102 points on his reverse 3 ½ tuck in the fourth round and followed up with the maximum 108 points on five 10s on his back 3 ½ pike in the fifth round.

His 550.30 points for his six dives on Sunday was the highest by an American in the current competition format, besting the 541.30 Thomas Finchum (Indianapolis) had in Thursday's semifinals.

Finchum pulled within 10 points of Boudia after earning three 10s on his first dive Sunday. He had two more 10s on another dive and ended up second with 1583.50 points.

Drew Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) was third at 1443.15, and Nick McCrory (Chapel Hill, N.C.) was fourth with 1345.35 points, highlighted by three 10s on his back 3 ½ tuck in Sunday's fourth round. JJ Kinzbach (Montgomery, Texas) was fifth at 1285.60, followed by Matt Cooper (Bethesda, Md.) at 1246.70.

Wilkinson missed her second dive, a difficult back 3 ½ pike that only two other women do, but rebounded on her reverse 3 1/2 tuck in the next round to receive 10s from all seven judges for the first time in her storied career.

Haley Ishimatsu (Seal Beach, Calif.) was second at 1140.40 points, receiving 9s on three of her five dives. Cassandra Cardinell (Loudonville, N.Y.) was third at 1059.90), followed by Brittany Viola (Orlando, Fla.) at 1046.25, Jessica Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) at 1014.60 and Mary Beth Dunnichay (Elwood, Ind.) at 899.85.

Only the winners of each event earn Olympic nominations. The second individual spot, as well as all four synchronized diving teams, will be chosen at a selection camp in Knoxville, Tenn., from July 2-6. The top six divers on each event at the Trials are invited to the camp.
