' Feb. 8: Six-Month out mark from Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony UPCOMING COMMUNITY APPEARANCES: ' Track , Field Athletes Jon Rankin (800m), Simi Adeagbo (Triple Jump) and Kayaker Susannah Stucchio will speak at the South Bay YMCA Kickoff Fundraising event on Thursday, Feb. 7 at South Bay Fish , Grill in Chula Vista ' Various Olympic hopefuls will speak to Chula Vista Elementary School Classes during their Exercise the Dream sessions at the Olympic Training Center. Dates: February 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 21. ' Track , Field Athletes Akiba McKinney (Long Jump), Simi Adeagbo (Triple Jump) and Paralympic Track , Field Athlete April Holmes (Long Jump, 200m) will attend the Girl Scouts of San Diego's National Girls , Women in Sports Day on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Girl Scout Headquarters in San Diego.
