A quick look ahead at the Beijing Olympics

Aug. 10, 2008, 12:58 p.m. (ET)

China has won seven of the last eight world titles in men's gymnastics, making them almost as strong a bet to win as Michael Phelps. Both will be seen in prime time Monday night. Also worth watching:

LIKE SANDS THROUGH THE HOURGLASS: The first event President Bush visited during his Olympic trip was beach volleyball. NBC boss Dick Ebersol must have told him how much fun the sport is. The network sure loves this stuff because it gets a lot of air time. (Well, great bodies in skimpy clothes probably has something to do with it, too.) Matches today include the top U.S. men's and women's teams.

REVENGE?: The U.S. men's basketball team pounded China. Perhaps the Chinese women can do what Yao Ming and the boys couldn't when they face Lisa Leslie, Candace Parker and crew live on USA in the afternoon.

TAKE AIM: The men's archery team final also can be found on USA during the day.

TAKE A CLICK ON THE WILD SIDE: C'mon, have you ever seen Olympic field hockey? Or sailing? How about judo? Go online for streaming video.
