Live your archery dream at a JOAD Camp this summer!
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Camps are designed to introduce archers to the National Training System and provide archers an opportunity to interact with an Elite coaching staff and other archers who are also dedicated to taking the "next step" as competitors.
During the camp archers will learn and practice:
The goals of the JOAD Camps are to raise each attending archer's level of expertise so that they will be better prepared for tournament competition, teach training techniques that will reinforce the lessons learned at camp and to instill in each archer the confidence they need to train for and perform better at any level of competition. JOAD Camps are a great learning experience for any archer that is looking to better their skill sets.
- The National Training System (NTS) shot cycle and shooting form
- Learn and complete goal setting exercises

A note for 2013 Camp Participants:
USA Archery JOAD Campers,
We would personally like to thank each of you for your participation and support of USA Archery JOAD Camps this year. Another successful summer of JOAD Camps has passed and we had over 150 campers participate in seven camps across the country!
Many great stories have come from coaches on how campers improved their archery techniques and shooting abilities greatly over the four days of camp. Coach Tom Herrington (Foxboro, MA JOAD Coach) put it best: “the JOAD archers were excited, awesome and very interested in learning about National Training System and archery in general. The Ranking Round, Elimination Rounds and Team rounds were fun and explored the different sides of competition. The volunteers that came in to help were life savers. It was great working with such fine people! I can't wait to do it again next year!"
USA Archery looks forward to making 2014 JOAD Camps even better. Please keep an eye on www.usarchery.org for more information about 2014 JOAD Camps. We look forward to seeing all of you next year!
